Welcome to the Candidacy Mentor Page
A Candidacy Mentor plays a special role in helping candidates discern the best way to live out God’s call on their lives. Sometimes it is found in licensed or ordained ministry, sometimes in Certified Lay Ministry and sometimes in continuing in a secular field. The role of the mentor is to help guide the discernment process. All Candidacy Mentors must have attended a training session and have access to the OCAS (on-line candidacy) site.

What's New?
The 2012 General Conference made very few changes in the Candidacy Process. One change that needs to be noted is that all candidates must attend an orientation to ministry. This requirement is fulfilled by attending a God’s Call event in the Susquehanna Annual Conference. This may be attended at any time during the beginning phase of candidacy but must be completed prior to certification.
